The OMA Media Show provides an opportunity for media and PR professionals to meet-up and align upcoming stories with the latest outdoor gear.
The OMA Media Show started in 2022 and has since served 125+ brands and nearly 30 PR agencies in connecting with over 100 media reps from across the outdoor and active lifestyle spaces from niche and mainstream outlets over five events.

OMA Annual Giving
Founded in 2022 with a vision for collaborative work and community contribution, the OMA has quickly become Denver’s hub for the outdoor industry. Since its inception, the OMA has committed to giving back, and members have a chance each year to both nominate and vote on a variety of outdoor non-profit causes to receive funds from the OMA’s annual philanthropy awards. The funds are raised throughout the year, primarily from the OMA’s Media Show, a growing, twice-annual event connecting industry brands with media to preview and showcase new gear, apparel, and brand stories.
“As part of our founding vision, it’s really important to us to give back to these organizations that support our outdoor communities, and that work to keep them diverse and vibrant, ” said Steve Copeland, president and founding board member of OMA. “This year, we were able to allocate awards to three recipients, which is in turn rewarding to us, as we hope our annual giving program can really make a difference and help these organizations continue to do such important work.”
The 2024 award recipients include; $20,000 to Protect Our Rivers, $7,500 to Save A Brain, $2,500 to Women’s Wilderness and the 2023 award went to Outdoor Lab Foundation for $20,000.
